The NCS-5/160 high production circular sawing machin
e has been developed to meet the highest demands in precision cutting. Unrivalled in its performance of sawing solid bar material with maximum precision, providing almost dry, close tolerance parts with CNC control on all cutting parameters.
The saw employs ultra- hard and thin throw away circular saw blades specially designed for high speed cutting.

Extreme heavy duty, robust construction (Saw unit alone = 3,100 Kgs). Single piece saw unit frame design for additional machine rigidity. Frame design allows for maximum swarf removal. Specially designed ultra robust cutting head. Motor power 15 Kw. Inverter controlled blade speed suitable for a range of materials (30-120 rpm). Standard saw blade diameter = 480 mm. Cutting head movement is controlled via an electric axis.
Fixed carbide blade guide blocks to ensure zero blade deviation (NO operator adjustment required). Critical guide units fitted both above AND below the cut piece. Micro lubrication coolant system c/w automatic low level machine warning fail safe unit. Swarf removal blade brush assembly.
Automatic setting of double (both sides of the saw blade) horizontal cutting vise clamp. Automatic setting of the vertical material clamp. Automatic setting of the gripper feed carriage clamp. Vise jaws feature replaceable hardened wear plate inserts. Single gripper feed stroke of 800 mm with automatic multi feed facility for longer cut lengths. Floating gripper feed carriage to improve handling of slightly bowed material. (Max 2mm per 1000mm and a maximum of 5mm per starting length).
Mitsubishi CNC machine control system. Mitsubishi “Colour” operator friendly touch screen for simple and easy use. Pre programmed setting of material grades and types automatically setting all sawing parameters. Automatic blade recommendation system. Multiple job memory facility for regular work. Comprehensive error message system for easy fault finding.
Robust automatic inclined (slide) loading magazine unit. 6m starting length capacity Standard loading width capacity = 870mm. Maximum weight capacity = 3,500 Kgs Quick and simple setting via a single graduated setting point near machine control panel. Standard magazine loader will ONLY load round material automatically (Sections on request).
